I know it was a month ago, but I never posted pictures and they are too cute to just sit in our archives.

Autumn had a “park party” with the moms and children we regualarly meet with at the park. I brought balloons for all of the little ones and an Elmo cake. Brian and I had fun decorating her cake the night before the party. I practiced drawing Elmo a few times before I actually attempted to do it on the cake.  Brian used to write on ice cream cakes at Baskin Robbins so he did the writing.  It turned out perfect and I was quite proud of our parenting prowess.  In the morning I discovered to my horror (yes, I cried) that the frosting had melted and our beautiful cake was no longer beautiful. I took a picture of the melted cake and now we laugh about it (see below).
