You may have noticed that I’ve been writing about business stuff lately.  That’s because I spend a lot of my time thinking about, reading about, and (hopefully soon) working in the business world.  It is something I am passionate about because business fulfills the fundamental human desire to create.
However, I will not be writing on this website about business stuff anymore.  After all, this is “The Nick FAMILY.com”.  If you enjoyed reading about the business stuff then don’t start crying just yet.  I have been working on a secret project that I am ready to announce: Young-Manager.  There will be a few other contributors, which makes the project that much more enjoyable.  I’ll be writing about my business philosophy, reviewing the many business books I’ve read, and commenting on current news that interests me.

If you haven’t enjoyed my business posts there might be two other reasons why you would enjoy reading Young-Manager.  First, if the business world is a mystery to you Young-Manager might be able to make sense of it and answer the question “why should I care.”  Second, if you ever want to run anything (a home, school, classroom, church, sports team, or even a business) you’ll need a set of management tools.  We all have a management style that comes naturally, but that needs refinement and growth.

One caveat: the site still needs some work so don’t pass judgment as though it were a finished project.  Think of this announcement like a limited release or a beta rather than a grand opening.  The grand opening is yet to come.
