Why is it that when you are washing windows the spot is always on the other side of the glass? Even if you have just cleaned the other side.
Why is it that when I use the combination of streak-free microfiber cloths and streak-free windex my windows have streaks? I take solace in the fact […]

Hunter got bit by the same stray cat a second time today. He cried, was comforted, then immediately went back to pet the same unhappy cat. I guess he is a cat-lover.

Autumn is an interesting conversationalist. Her favorite knock, knock joke:
Me: “Knock, knock”
Autumn: “who’s there? monkey butt” (giggles)
Our dinner conversation:

Hunter and Sam Snell (Jessica’s son) are just a few months apart. Now that they are both over a year old they have become buds. At church this morning they played with each others toy animals while Jessica and I tried to keep them from disturbing the bishop’s talk. It’s fun to see them be boys together.

This is another well-loved recipe that we have fairly regularly. On Monday I bought the canned ingredients at the 99 cents store, used left-over chicken (From Amie’s California Chicken recipe) and stale chips. It only cost me $5 to feed my family!
Ingredients:
4 chicken breast halves (I often use left-over chicken of chicken thighs)
2 15oz cans of black […]
